Stress Management Training courses are available for individuals and groups and aim to achieve an understanding of work place and personal stress and the effects stress can have on the individual.
The purpose of stress management training is to explain how individual stress responses are triggered, how the body is affected, what measures can be put in place in the workplace to address stress related issues and coping strategies for each individual to incorporate into their lives.
Learning about the different worlds we each live in enhances our ability to respect the value of others and in so doing prepares the individual to make the changes needed to reduce levels of stress and achieve a better quality of life.
Making the right changes achieves the following benefits:
• Become a more relaxed personality
• Be capable of building better personal relationships and work place relationships
• Become more postively assertive
• Understand how to take more control of your life
• Increase your self esteem
• Improve time your management skills
• Develop a healthier lifestyle
Stress related health problems
Given the high number of stress related illnesses that are now presented to GPs and the level of stress related absenteeism in the workplace it is more important than ever that managers and their staff develop a greater awareness of stress related issues in order to maintain or enhance productivity and improve personal well-being.
Being able to
identify stress in oneself and in others will provide everyone with an opportunity to take appropriate action before the need for medical intervention.
